Getting to Growth
Becky's philosophy
Vision + Execution + Adaptation
Strong organizations envision and execute strong solutions.
Exemplary organizations learn and grow along the way.
When Becky was young, she had two posters hanging in her room. One read:
"A vision without a task is but a dream. A task without vision is drudgery. A vision and a task are the hope of the world."
She believed and still believes this. Becky enjoys helping individuals and organizations develop a clear vision and the tools to implement it.
The second poster read, "We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails."
Becky still believes this, but she has learned that adapting is more than just adjusting our sails to the prevailing wind. Adapting requires learning and reflection, both as individuals and in community with others. Becky integrates an understanding of what it takes to move people and teams forward into her work with organizations and leaders.
